     Begin to be felt the first signs of rain, perfect to see how changes in the habitat and species of amphibians

     are becoming more noticeable.

     A little rain, are the wettest months, activity in the outside is not very friendly, but very good for planting

     and harvesting. walk the trails and see the different animals is also common.

     People are generally observed and happier, is a time that everyone loves. The wind and sun are a good

     indication to start enjoying the "summer". Horseback riding and different tours are becoming more frequent.

What to Bring and Climate and Weather

 

Located between two oceans, Costa Rica has a unique climate. Finca Siempre Verde is in the Pacific Central Region where we have two distinct seasons - summer and winter.

 

During the very dry season (December - March), the temperatures usually range between high 70s and high 80s during the day and fall into the 60s at night.

 

It rains almost every day during the rainy winter season (April - November) with the most rain in October and November. The temperatures range from the low 60s to the high 70s. The plants and animals in our tropical rainforest thrive in this climate.

 

Finca Siempre Verde is a wonderful place to visit in whichever season you prefer.

What to Bring

 

What you bring with you to Finca Siempre Verde should depend on the season in which you visit.

 

Please keep in mind that we do not have a trash service in our community. All of our trash that is unrecyclable must be taken to San Jose.

Summer List (beginning of December until the end of March) You will need:

• Shorts

• Sandals

• Light hiking shoes

• T-shirts (include one long-sleeved)

• Lightweight pants

• Tall Socks

• Hat, All- Natural insect repellent

• All-Natural Sunscreen

• Flashlight or headlamp (rechargeable batteries recommended)

• Bio-degradable soap

• Toiletries

• Sunglasses

• Camera (Required!)

• Basic First Aid supplies

• Prescription medicines and any supplements you may need during your stay

• Bathing Suit.

 

Winter List (April – November)

 

You will need everything on the summer list AND:

• Umbrella

• Rainjacket

• Light sweater

• Waterproof or rubber boots

• Extra longsleeve shirts
